Cococo Chocolatiers takes home Gold, Silver and Bronze at Canadian National Chocolate competition.

Cococo set to compete for third year in the International Chocolate Awards following big wins at National Competition.

 

Calgary, AB (October 5, 2015) - Calgary based Cococo Chocolatiers, owners of Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut® (Cococo) are excited to announce that they have been awarded multiple prizes at the Canadian National Chocolate Competition, a nationwide arm of the International Chocolate Awards, including Gold, Silver and Bronze in numerous categories.  As a result of these wins, Cococo will now compete on the international stage in London, UK later this month.

 

Five of Cococo's top-quality confections were judges by a panel of pastry chefs, journalists and culinary educators at the national competition, which was held September 25-27, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario.  The five winning offerings were Cococo's Oregano Fusion Tablette, which won Silver in the Flavoured Bar category and their Earl Grey Truffle, which earned Gold in the Milk Chocolate Ganache and Truffle category as well as their Mint Leaf, Salted Peanut Butter Cup and the exclusive Thai Ginger Sea Salt Caramel, which all took home the Bronze prize.

 

Following this prestigious victory, Cococo will not go on to represent Canada for the third time at the International Chocolate Competition in London, UK on October 12-15, 2015.  The International Chocolate Awards Competition sets the standard for confectionary excellence and accepts product from the biggest and best chocolatiers, globally.
